The Matterhorn, Switzerland
The Matterhorn at first may seem like just another mountain in the Alps. However when traveling around the Alps, the Matterhorn is inescapable and ever present, and seemingly seen from everywhere. 
Plate: Relief print using Lino block
The ink used to print this edition is made from crushing, grinding then washing a small amount of rock containing mica found at the base of the Alps. This was added to a water based system for relief printing. On Arches paper
