ORIGINS by Paddo

An exhibition of Intaglio and relief prints produced with inks made from materials local to the rendered image.

These materials include Banksia pods from the foreshores of Sydney harbour. Coal from Edinburgh. Oches from the far northern reaches of Scotland and the Hebrides. Micas from the shadows of the Matterhorn. Calcined, cleaned and ground to produce the inks with which the prints were made.

Exhibition dates:

1st to 13th October 2024 at CBD Gallery, 72 Erskine Street, Sydney

4th to 20th December 2024 at Print Council Of Australia Gallery – Studio 2 Guild,152 Sturt Street, Southbank, Melbourne

Sydney opening night – 6.30pm 3rd October 

Melbourne opening night – 5-7pm 5th December
